  • We advised the shareholders of Nordic Padel Oy (Open Padel), Korpi Capital, Cityvarasto Oy, Marius van Andringa (the MD of Nordic Padel Oy/Padel X),  and Matias Kuusinen in the combination of Nordic Padel Oy and Padel X Oy. After the combination, the group is largest national padel chain in Finland. The combined company operates a total of 115 padel courts in Finland. in the combination of Nordic Padel Oy and Padel X Oy. After the combination, the group is largest national padel chain in Finland. The combined company operates a total of 115 padel courts in Finland.

  • We advised Eficode Oy in the acquisition of Avoset Oy. After this acquisition, Eficode is the biggest Atlassian partner in Finland and one of the largest worldwide. Eficode Oy is a leading provider of DevOps services and tooling in Europe, the United Kingdom, and the United States, with 580 employees in 10 different countries.

  • We advised the shareholders of NTI ArkSystems Oy on a transaction concerning the sale of shares in ArkSystems Oy to NTI Group ApS (backed by Axcel) Arksystems provides software solutions, consulting, and training services for architecture and construction industry and is a market leader in Autodesk AEC and M&E business in Finland. NTI Group is a Danish-based leading full-service supplier of digital solutions for construction, design, and manufacturing industries in Europe

  • We advised Nordic Sports Brands Oy, a fast-growing Nordic sporting goods retailer, in a series of add-on acquisitions in Nordics and subsequent integration and corporate restructuring processes. The M&A transactions have included three acquisitions in Finland (N.S.F. Nordic Sports Finland Oy, Green Trail Oy and Urheilu Tesoma Oy) and one in Norway (Scushi AS).

  • We advised the shareholders of Europak Oy, Korpi Capital and Harri Laaksonen (the MD of Europak), in the sale of the company to Emballator Group. Europak is a leading blow-moulded packaging manufacturer serving its customers in various industries, such as chemicals and food.

  • We advised Grupo Bimbo, S.A.B. de C.V., a global leader in the baking industry with annual sales of USD 15.6 billion, in a cross-border transaction wherein Grupo Bimbo’s subsidiary invested in Mekitec, an internationally operating manufacturer of innovative quality control systems based on X-ray technology for the food industry, and Mekitec Oy acquired Grupo Bimbo’s subsidiary Kanan Smart Solution.

  • We advised Vantaan Energia, a growing circular economy energy company, in a transaction where our client invested in Myrspoven AB, a Swedish AI company turning gray buildings green while reducing cost and emission.

  • We advised a Finnish a non-profit foundation dedicated to the promotion of education in a series of divestments of commercial real estate properties to certain real estate developers and private persons. The transactions included three divestments of commercial real estate companies including the buildings and properties owned by them.

  • We advised Deep Measures Oy, a Finnish pharmaceutical technology startup, with a vision of a world where digital measures transform human health by unlocking meaningful, people-centric insight, in their seed funding round led by Finnish venture capital investors Lifeline Ventures and Innovestor.

  • We advised Innovestor Ignite Oy in several Corporate Venturing projects assisting large corporations in cultivating startup partnerships. Byro’s dedicated team held a central role in evaluating startup companies and providing vital support in executing transactions with meticulously chosen startups.

  • We advised Nordic Venture Family Oy on the sale of shares of their portfolio company, Videolle Productions Oy, to Sanoma Media Finland Oy. Videolle Productions Oy is a leading digital video marketing agency in Finland, and the acquisition will further strengthen Sanoma’s service selection in a field of digital marketing services.

  • We advised Aatos Legal Technology Oy, a Finnish legal technology startup, in its €1.2 million funding round led by Finnish venture capital investor Innovestor Oy. Aatos.app is on a mission of creating technology that makes legal services accessible to everyone. The funding will be used to support the growth of the company's international operations.

  • We advised NXT:FWD on their technology spin-out from Nokia and investment from Verso Capital Oy. The transaction included the carve-out by etc. executing an asset sale and licensing agreement and entering into investment by Verso, which included also a convertible loan instrument. Originally, FWD was an internal startup of Comptel which transferred to Nokia as part of the acquisition back in 2017.

  • We advised Laavu Performance in its pre-seed funding round. Laavu offers psychological coaching for entrepreneurs and start-up leaders and their mission is to create a norm in which taking care of your mind is a hobby just like taking care of your body is. They want to be known as a start-up founder's best friend.
